i'm not so sure that any of that top structure is necessary... it isn't feasible to make as tight a fit with tube as the factory door does thus it wouldn't provide any support or have much of a purpose.

i see. There was this guy from VA at rausch with an older yota, he built his own and had the whole top piece, it was sick, and he had made canvas "jeep" windows that snapped on.

gotcha... yea i mean you could build them that way.. but like i said it would be almost impossible to have them fit "tight" to the door frame like a normal door.... about the only purpose they would serve would be to allow one to make a "window" like you were describing that would snap on... even then it still wouldnt be weather tight...

Fire (Kevin), do you have an aprox. weight for your bolt on direct replacement bumper W/ Out the wrap around?

You have a killer product BTW. Hopefully I'll snag one of these up in the near future.

    Thanks!!

all my bumpers are pretty heavy compared to some.. this is due to the thickness of material i use to construct them of... the bolt on bumper with a hitch is somewhere in the neighborhood of 100 lbs. maybe 110... honestly i cant say that i've weighed the bumper complete... only exact weights i have are of it crated up... :D

good question though.... i'll make sure to weigh the next one before i crate it.

yes they come with an led light for the license plate. if you look closely you can just barely see it tucked up in there. you do however have to splice it into the factory wiring.

How much would a bumper optioned out like that run? $600? Sorry if it has already been mentioned, I didn't see it.

if you go to the very first post it has all the options and prices listed there... you can pick whatever you like and see what the total would be.
