Just had my Armrest redone professionally by Orlando Auto Upholstery. I first followed the DIY leather armrest mod sticky. Removal of arm rest was a breeze using a sanding bit on a dremel tool. Then I used 3M 80 to adhere heavy duty vinyl to the armrests. Turned fair (as the Florida heat kicked in they bubbled up). I then removed my attempt at this mod and called up the pros. They explained the sectioning of the vinyl would contour the covering and no bubbling would occur in the heat. They suggested a french stitch that they would match with my tan interior. I must say it turned out great! 2 weeks in 95+ degree weather and no signs of bubbling.

Very awesome! Great job. It looks like it came straight from the factory like that.

$60 ea. for the armrests, good price if I never have to revisit this mod again. They quoted me $75 to match up the center console lid. Might just have to get it done.

Nice! I have been thinking about having this done as well, more padding and wear resistant than the factory crap.

^^I run 16" Raceline Renegade 6 wheels with 265/75/16 General Grabber AT2's. Did not notice a major gas milage change with the 265's
