    Anybody else upgraded Tacomas just to go back to a previous model year.

    Yea I did, it was a really comfortable commute. Wasn’t a fan of the transmission, or the fact you had to drop the headliner just to replace a third tail light. The gas mileage was great and loved all the features. It just didn’t feel like home. So I found this 2003 prerunner with 112k miles trd pkg with all belts changed at 85k with documentation for $7900, rust free. Love not having a car payment, the nostalgia of feeling like I’m back in my first Tacoma is awesome and I love how it rides and drives like a truck. Don’t get me wrong there were other factors too like I have #3 [child] on the way in July and wanted to finish a bonus room in my house so everyone would have their own rooms. So there’s that too
