2019 DC TRD OFFROAD 4x4 6ft bed quicksand

Anyone else get one of these sweet ass awnings that fold out with no support legs to trip or run into while at camp. Only problem is mounting. For one, do you mount it with the hinge facing forward, or does that matter? Second, I’m assuming you need to punch a hole thru the cover to mount it, and didn’t it come with hard ware?! What are you guys using? I’m mounting to a prinsu cab rack and prinsu awning mount.
