I recently downloaded an update for my 360, after it was finished downloading i got an E74 error code and it said on the screen to contact MS Support. I ignored it cuz i didn't see any red rings (me: red rings + 360= instant death) and it seemed to be working once i turned it off and back on. Over the next 2 weeks it finally stopped playing games altogether so i sent it in to get fixed last week.

Last night i watched some tv and went to bed. I wake up, click on the TV and the power button comes on and then goes off after 10 seconds and nothing else happens. This repeats the next 5 times i try to turn it on. I finally called a repair center and they think they can fix it for $125. We had a pretty bad storm here last night so i'm hoping it's not fried and a total wash.

So now i have no TV or 360. At least it's not costing me anything to fix the 360 but damn it i wanted to watch some baseball tonight.

    Rant over
