This Happy Holidays is BS and everyone should be offended by it rather than the reverse because it trivializes their beliefs! I have Jewish friends and I wish them Happy Hanukkah. But I am Catholic so I wish people a Merry Christmas. I am offended that I have to hide my beliefs by saying Happy Holidays due to the fear that I might offend someone. For God sake, toughen up and if it doesn't apply just dismiss it and move on or respond politely that you aren't Christian or Jewish but thank you for the well wishes.

Maybe he himself does celebrate Christmas but wants to wish, on behalf of the presidency, a happy holiday season to all of America's citizens regardless of their faith/beliefs?

Seriously guys, the man is trying to tell as many people as possible to enjoy their holiday season, and you're somehow upset about this. Put politics completely aside for a second and ask yourself if it's rational to be unhappy about someone wishing someone else a happy holiday season, even if it doesn't necessarily include your faith of choice.

Edit: Now, these douchebags that DON'T want people of certain faiths (e.g. Christians with Christmas) to express their wishes for a happy holiday season (e.g. saying "Merry Christmas" in good faith to someone who may not necessarily we Christian) can lick my taint. Just so we're clear on that.

Thats crazy, on the 2 forums I am checking right now there are older gents rambling! What are the chances? And wouldn't you know it they are both farily new to each forum. Bucking the system I suppose. I figure their about to go to sleep so we can wait them out.
