assassin's creed odyssey PC

It's a couple years old and I didn't see a thread on it.

assassin's creed odyssey PC is free to play for a few days but it's only $20 for the download key. I will be spending a lot of time at home now so I needed something else to occupy my time.

This game is gorgeous in 4K. I am able to average around 35 FPS but I do get some (not sure of the term) laddering affects when the scene is moving very fast panning around. It's not bad enough to lower the resolution yet.

 

It's called "tearing" try turning off Motion Blur and/or turning down or off Depth of Field. Also Shadows can have a major impact on performance so turn them down or off.

 

Great game. Got about 200ish+ hrs in it.

Yup one of the better Assassin Creed games! I also had well over 200 hours but haven't played it in a while.

 

I thought I had it for the XBOX 1X but I actually had Origins. I had 200+ hours on that one and loved it.

 

I'm moving more towards PC games again after years of consoles now that I have one that is more capable of playing them in 4K with a 43" monitor using a XBOX controller.

 

111 hours in and still having fun with this one. I finished the main story and now I like to hunt down missionaries.

 

OK now 170 hours in and I have all cultests exterminated. I like to keep my wanted level almost full so I can get up to three mithiuos at a time going after me.

Getting ready for the new one in November.
