The plastic on the automatic transmission shifter box for my 09 DC creaks. It comes and go but it's really annoying. It stopped creaking when I took it to the dealer a week ago like any intermitent problems. Now it's back.

I can hear it when I move the black inner part of the plastic. Any solutions?

I have a 2012 and am having the same issue. It is very annoying while driving. I need to take it into the dealership. I removed the top console piece and could easily diagnose where the noise is coming from

A generous spray of silicone will cure the problem.

    Thanks,

Ill try that out before I spend all day at the dealership and get nothing out of it. It has gotten worse in the last couple of days so even if I take it I know they will hear it.

Yup.. sprayed white lithium grease along all the points/edges where the plastic makes contact with.... Plastic. Lol wipe the excess off, and your good. I did the shifter "box", and some other troubled spots.

Tried silicone spray and silicone grease. Still NOISE. Under warranty so taking to the dealership this week. The one thing that really irritates me in interior noises. Cant stand them:mad::mad::mad::mad:

It was actually my seat belt that was creaking. Not the console:p

My seatbelt buckle creaks, and the AT console, and something clicks in the center arm rest/console lid, and a little rattle in the front left corner of the dash. Oh well, it's got 100,000 miles on it. But my '99 with 200k NEVER rattled or squeaked.
