    Too poor, only reason I'm considering a quad is because there is quite a few old ones in my area for cheap. Otherwise I would just get an adventure bike or a 2nd car

    Just throwing it out there... there are plenty of older dirt bikes and such for plenty cheap that you can make work for adventure purposes, especially if you're on a budget. Something like an XR or DR are great examples.

    There's a REALLY old dirt bike in my area, just been laying up against a fence behind some dudes trailer. Been thinking about offering a few hundred bucks and trying to restore it. Not sure if I'm capable of doing that though.

    Depends on the bike but sometimes older bike parts are really cheap... but again it depends on the bike.

    Old bikes are still fun, here is my 99 WR400 frankenstein
