Ive got the anti-condensation mat, followed by 1/2" therma rest harder foam pads, followed by the 3" foam mattress it comes with, finally topped with a 2" memory foam pad. Its effing plush yall! I can sleep painlessly on my side, woot!

I graduated in 1993! But unlike the last, and most trips, I am not the oldest on this thread! Thanks to all the old ass geezers in here keeping these kids in check!

 

The annex is pointless here in Texas. I have had mine for over a year and have yet to use it still... i would forego it all together and save the money for a memory foam pad.

I am considering selling my rack and tent and getting into a hardshell. @pixelsailor turned me onto these wedge type tents/campers and I do believe I want one. Specifically, I like the Go Fast Camper shell and wedge tent combo. Once the house sells, I may be ordering one and putting my rack/tent on the market. The CVT wasnt cheap, but its build quality speaks for itself. I have 50+ nights in it (stopped counting to be honest) and its still in nearly perfect condition. Good stuff!

Most of the good stuff is up front. There's a lot of confusion about sizes in terms of long bed vs. short bed and double cab vs access cab which eventually turns into a bunch of typical forum bickering and bs. I haven't followed the thread lately so maybe there's more good stuff recently.

Vagabond and Go Fast are my two frontrunners. My plan is to get one in 5 years or 100,000 miles -- whichever happens first.

Yeah, both are sweet setups... I'm partial to the Go Fast though... really like engineering theyve obviously put into the unit... CNCed aluminum rails and hinges...

 

Any armor? Skid, bumper, sliders, winch? Any plans for that stuff?

 

Yessir, he has plans to add a good bit of weight... I just texted him to text you, lol. Hope thats aite.
