    Yes they are great dogs but they do require a lot of attention and are very active.

    Here is a picture of one the Australian Shepards, that my parents have back in Colorado. We have used them for cow dogs for years. This one name is Sam, not the best cow dog, but is still a good dog. We had one dog from the same parents, that was the best cow dog we ever had, she worked by verbal and hand signals. With her around you almost didn't even need a horse.
