Am starting to get into market for getting my soon to be 16yo son an older Tacoma, on the used market. obviously if I do that, there's going to be some wear and tear on that as I'm sure not going to get once close to new, at his age. While I would enjoy getting one like that and then replacing some things with aftermarket or replacement stuff, to get it more back towards 'like new', I don't have near the time. So my question for this board is are there any good recommended places that you could take an older truck to and then build out a list with them, of things to replace/upgrade. Particularly on northwest side of Atlanta / Cobb. Let me know if you've worked with any outfits like that, and thanks.
Oh and also let me know if you see any good deals on a truck! ha

    Same crap everyone else got
What kind of list do you want to make. Are you just upgrading things on the maintenance side for reliability or are you also modifying with a lift and other fun stuff?

Well since I don't have it yet that can't be said in full. But in general I imagine it would be more the lesser scale side of things

Greer Automotive is great with toyota trucks and is fair with their prices

Why not get the truck and work on it together? These trucks are pretty simple.

I 2nd the work on it with him, but you said you don’t have time and I can relate.
If you want an honest and good shop go here
    Eiffel's Place off Roswell rd
With any work they will do a free evaluation of everything for you and won’t pressure you to buy anything you don’t want. You can find a cheaper one I’m sure but it’s about quality/value for me cheapest mechanic is usually like that for a reason.
