Do you recommend using these https://www.amazon.com/Ginsco-Termi...argid=aud-801657747996:pla-312412015198&psc=1instead of soldering wires?

Are you talking about the Toyota sensor or the 545t sensor? Is the flat blank the OEM sensor location? What if I use both where did you locate the 545t sensor?

blank on the RH speaker grill is where the OEM sensor goes. I put the 545t sensor on the left side just in front of
    The speaker.

If this is installed, will the headlights come on at night when the doors are unlocked?

Will this mod change the interior lights (illuminate buttons, dim navi/dash) from day to night mode? Or will this only turn on head lights?

I dont want to do the toyota light sensor and would like to run this auto off of the DRL position but I'm unclear if this only turns the headlights on or tricks the computer to think the switch was put into headlight position (i.e. turn on external marker lights and change interior to night mode).

Anyone that has done this with or without toyota light sensor have any input on this??

Tricks computer into thinking you turned the switch. So dash lights will act the same as if you manually turned the switch and so will all exterior markers.

The only thing the Toyota sensor does is override the dash dimmer in daylight, for example if you had your lights on in the rain.

Could I run ignition only 12v power source to both red and yellow? Or does red need constant battery power? What would be the harm in tying both to same ign12v power source?

    Thanks for the quick reply.

Not sure if that would cause an issue or not. I supplied both because it had 2 separate inputs and I figured they had a reason for that.
