Automatic Headlights Not Working Correctly

Modified the level of gas in the tank

Been having the same issue as OP. The headlights are in auto position, shut off truck upon arrival at work and lock it using the door handle lock button (which leaves lights on temporarily). Once i get to the shop door, ill lock again (partially ocd driven) and check to make sure all lights have shut off. But they have been staying on lately. BUT it has been -30* to -40* degrees lately, and i expected that it was just a relay freezing/too cold to release. Not sure if factory relay or the aftermarket remote starter box. I figured it was the aftermarket box, not overly concerned as it'll warm up again here and i'm not troubleshooting when its that cold out...

Cold will do that to relays and electrics. I've got a 2006 RAV4 that when it gets colder than -12c the power steering (electric) won't work. And it's right at -12 every time. Warm up the interior after driving for a bit and it would click and then power steering. At the same intersection invariably every time, appx 8 mins of driving...every time lol. It's been about 8 or more years now.
