    Hello everyone
Im kinda new to the forum but have owned several tacomas in the past. Now i have a 2005 Tacoma TRD sport. This is the quad cab with the 4.0 v6 and the 5spd AUTO trans. I cant seem to find a straight answer on if i need to change the transmission fluid. The truck has exactly 100k on and everyone seems to have different answers. Some say just drain and refill, some say take it to the toyota dealer, some say NEVER mess with changing as type WS Toyota ATF lasts the life of the truck and doesnt need to be changed, just inspected...The local toyota dealer says they flush it (recommended at 100k) but i trust service writers about as much as i trust a convict. Can anyone shed some light on this matter that actually can give an answer based on facts and not on just what u think is right? any help would be great...thanks

A flush cant hurt with 100k on the oil
