Well, I went and did it. Installed an aux fuse bracket, now my power brakes aren’t working. Must have pinched a wire? Hope removing it fixes the brake issue.

Is there an idiot light on in the dash?

Do the brakes not work? Pedal goes to the floor?

Yes, getting a message about ABS brakes. Went to drive away, brakes still work, but not power brakes. Have to push the pedal pretty hard.

No wires yet, just got it installed last night

The Off Road uses hydroboost for the brakes, so that is where the system gets its assist. Most vehicles uses a vacuum booster to assist the brakes. assist aka "power".

Take off the stuff you bolted on and double check everything.

So, I took off the bracket. It looks like the edge of the bracket cut into the wire and grounded it. I’m still getting an error. Does ABS have a fuse?

Not sure, what does your owners manual show for fuse locations?

So I replaced the 50 amp Jcase fuse, brakes are working again. I’m very disappointed with the bracket, even in the website, the picture clearly shows an edge of the bracket resting on a wire to the brake system. Poor design!

Notch it 1/4" above the harness, and remount it.

Remove it. Do the notch. File/sand smooth all the cuts, especially the areas where the wires will pass n rest.

Good idea. I cut the bracket. Still a little close for comfort, but it should be ok

Yes it is. I want two power sources, one always on for the light bar, a usb charger, and one that switches off with the ignition for the ham radio and dash cam.

Look what Blue Sea System has for April...

The internal is similar to the 5045 fuse block...

OP regarding the Overland Equipped fuse bracket, thank you for making this post. You probably saved me a future headache! I thought the wire was close, but didn't take any precautionary measures. I checked, and I had about 1/8" of space between the wire and the bracket. A quick fix for now was to cut a rubber fuel line hose and zip tie it around the wire. Thanks again! By the way, did you reach out to Overland Equipped?
