The same shit everyone else has.
I have a 2011 TRD Off Road 6 speed and I want to mount 3 auxiliary switches - one for my front LED light bar, one for auxiliary back up lights, and one for LED bed lights.

I plan on using SPDT OTRATTW switches.

I have no empty slots on the left side of the dashboard. No empty slots under the radio (Atrac, heated mirror switch, and 3.5mm/USB port). I want to keep the over head console sunglass holder as it very convenient. I also want to keep the ash tray on the lower left side of the dashboard. And I also want to keep the cubby in front of the shifter as well.

Im not really sure where I can mount 3 aftermarket switch.

I do NOT want to mount them in the center console near the cup holders. This was the only option I could come up with but I think it looks super tacky and not OEM

I thought about mounting the switches inside the center console, but its not the most convenient location.

Does any one have any suggestions on how/where to mount 3 OTRATTW switches

Does the 2011 have 2 sun glass holders like the 2013 or just 1? If you have 2 could you get buy with just one sunglass holder?

    Cheers

It only has 1. The front section has the compass/thermometer.

Would it be hard to get a 2013 mirror so your compass and thermometer are integrated then put the switches overhead?

I just cut a piece of aluminum and painted it flat black to fit the spot in front of the cup holders, put 5 switches looks great.

If you are going to put them in the over head console, get 6. I think it might look weird with just 3 in there. Go big or go home lol :D

    Here's mine
    [IMG]

If that's not doable, I would use the "coin tray" door on the left side under the dash. Here is someone who used a 6 pod

For those of you who put the switches in the sunglass holder, are you running the wires directly to the switch or are you using a guide like the red one pictured below?

I want to mount mine there, but I'm afraid I won't have room to use the back piece.

It looks great! How much room do you have before hitting the roof?

Thanks for the suggestions, but none of them really help. All are locations I'd rather not mount them.

I have a set of 8 switches on the center console but was able to keep the cup holder so i still have all three. used a Whelen 8 button controller and put the accompanying connector board under the rear seat storage. I also have another one in the sunglasses holder and just put my sunglasses in the center console now.

Aluminum bracket that uses the stock tray holes and a Radio shack project box. Gonna use the factory blanks for my overflow or just find somewhere else to move my LED switches to away from dog stomping grounds so I can put the locker switches out of the way. (Puppy likes to surf on the center console lid...was planning on putting light bar switches in the console but that would be bad...)

    Not enough...
Is this come kind of after-market console door thingy that came pre-cut?

But I hate the way these aftermarket rocker switches look. Are there push button switches that look like OEM?
