    This question is for those who have the Avid lightbar...specific to the gen-2 '12-'15 models only. No '05-'11 models...please.

    It looks from pictures that the bar might impede the fog lights a bit on the '12+.

    Thoughts and opinions?

    Yes, it does, but not enough to make any real difference.

    It does look real cool, deflects brush/shrubs, repels shopping carts, and crunches the bumpers of those who park by braille. I had mine to venture down grown in logging roads so as to access lumber, some great virgin trout fishing, and to go to the insidious mall.

    It's awesome!

    It would be a completely frivolous purchase...serving only for atheistics. I just like the way it looks.

    But I run PIAA Ion Plasma Yellows in my fogs and like the pattern they throw in front of the truck. I don't want half of it to be deflected by the bar

    @taczilla

    Do you have up close pix of your bar....with and without the fogs on?

    I would much appreciate it if you did. :thumbsup:

    I haven't noticed any problems running with my fogs at night. My eyesight is pretty sensitive and I can pick up on lighting difficulties pretty quickly. I bought mine because my trek between me and my fam is about 4.5 hours, with 2.5 spent on 2-lane back roads through forest. I usually count between 12-18 deer each trip. It's not a full bull bar, but I hope it would send any potential woodland creatures down and under, rather than up & into my taco. Aesthetically, it doesn't overpower the front end of my truck.

    Oh yeah, the fogs def. work fine. Being a railroad fan, I call them "Ditch lights," since they cast out so far. I doubt I could drive at night without them. I need to get my Avid sandblasted and powdercoated. I bolted it up for pics and it stayed there for the past year. It's #1 on my summer project list.

    Do you have any night shots with your fogs on?

    Oh, well. What's done, is done.

    Things happen for a reason, I guess.

    Thanks, man.
