    4.10 gears, sliders, and lots of buttons.
    Im getting close to 10" in front with my set up, but thats right at the edge of the TC UCA's binding.
    How is 12" travel atainable with the TC UCA's?

    So can uca's also increase travel on top of fixing alignment and being stonger?

    Also is a mid travel set up up front just uca's and coilovers? What about the rear? New leafs and fox 2.0's or the equivalent?

    Old thread but good question. Camburg's 1.25" UCAs can increase travel with the right coilovers but you'll need to replace your stock bumpstops with some hydraulic ones. The stock bumps will limit your uptravel.

    The uniballs in my old UCAs got mangled because the bumps and coilovers allowed more travel than the 1" uniballs could handle. The result was not pretty, but the larger uniballs in some of the later UCAs won't have the same issue I had.

    In the rear you could get around 13" of travel without going spring-under-axle with the right Deaver leaf packs, custom shock hoops, and the right shocks.

    Thanks I figured I didn't need to start a whole thread.

    My concern with the deavers is the fact that I tow pretty much daily and I don't want it to squat too much do you think I could run deavers with air bags and maybe remove the airbags when I wheel?

    Yeah, you're not towing with the Deavers alone. :)

    Timbrens will make you bounce around a lot offroad. Airbags would be a decent compromise. Another option would be to go with some Light Racing jounce shocks in the rear. You'll ride on them while towing but offroad they'll soften landings like you wouldn't believe.

    The only real downside is that they're pricey.

    For towing, yes. The issue with that is that the back end will bounce all over the place when bashing offroad at speed.

    Tough to find a compromise between offroad performance and daily pickup-style usability.

    Yeah like 1200 for the whole kit. I don't know I have a lot to consider and think about. It's not like I'm going to be romping through the desert at 50 it would just be nice to be able to go faster down some open trails and some crappy dirt roads between the trails. If I were to go all out mid travel it would be piece by piece. First would probably the fox 2.0's up front.

    No problem. :)

    For non-desert stuff maybe consider a set of Alcan leaf packs. SilverSeven was (I think he still is) running them and they're supposed to flex pretty well and have some decent load capacity. Might want to reach out to him and get a first-hand opinion.

    Definitely a nice setup. You'd have to modify the stock bumpstops and push the truck pretty freaking for the TC UCAs to limit your travel.

    Any additional travel will impact the CVs. No way around that one.

    ay sunny didnt mean to bug.... but i need a professional opinion.... what do u think about Camburg UCAs in comparison to the Total Chaos....???
