im about to pull my axles to do a rear brake conversion kit, and everyone on here says that you should replace the seals if you pull the axles. which seal are yall talking about, the inner or outer seal? is this something i can do myself or do i need some kind of special tool to do this?

i have pulled my axles once when i replaced my 3rd member for a 4.88 gear one and i didnt have to replace the seals because they havent leaked for 20k miles, so you think the seals would be bad if i pull the axles again?
