That sounds like more trouble that it is worth for me.

Garage currently consists of a Lexus UX250h and a Honda Civic Si Sedan.

The 250h is the DD for the most part.

I wouldn’t call it soulless, for the same reason you don’t get mad at a comfy leather armchair for not being exciting enough.:)

I’m assaulted by these come to Jesus moments where I realize there just aren’t twisty (paved) roads that are easily accessible here so sports cars just don’t have the same joys. It’s even further to find a good canyon run than it is to find wheeling.

They should be roughly the same, I think, but only 80% sure.

That's the problem I have with motorcycles out here. I'm not a dirt bike guy either. Unlike SoCal, there isn't a need for me to ride daily here due to traffic and if I want to hit the twisties, then it's a good hour or 2 jaunt on the freeway to get to anything decent. At least for around Tucson.

I'm strongly considering selling my 1290 Super Duke lately.

Yes, they should be. Considering I can bolt up almost everything driveline & suspension-wise from a 2nd/3rd gen Tacoma onto my 4th gen 4runner, I'm willing to say yes. Only major differences other than body work are the electronics.

Same exact reason I sold both of my motorcycles. Unless you're barcrawling in a group its dangerous and theres basically no fun roads to ride. Id only want a dirtbike/dual sport if I lived in Cave Creek or Anthem or somewhere you can be on dirt in a matter of minutes.

What about Mount Lemon? At least from satellite view it reminds me of the wonderful Appalachian backroads but I've never been up there. Heavily patrolled or something?

95% of the road is 25mph speed limit and it's always way to crowded with cars, bicyclists and other motorcycles. It is a nice drive, I've been up a few times but there's always way too much traffic to make it really enjoyable.

Bummer, I never like doing “spirited driving” on a crowded road. If I’m going to drive with a flagrant disregard for posted speed limits, trying to pass people and/or involve them in the risk I am taking is just poor form.

I just took the Civic to work today and it’s a freaking brilliant car, quick and sharp and a delightful manual transmission but I get to make like one gradual sweeping turn that could easily be handled by cars half as capable.:boink:

I had to sell my R1 once I moved back up here to show low. Could never get out of first gear around here. But luckily once out of town could open her up. Cops dont pull over motorcycles up here. They just flash their lights as a warning and move on. Although the harley is allot more fun up here for the kind of rides we have. I do want to get something lighter than the street glide for bar hoping.
