    I have a second overhead temp/compass unit if anyone is interested here in az. i re soldered all the resisters just for good measure. I posted it on a couple of those fix threds, and WTB threds, but would like to help out a Arizona T.W. member first. Also if anyone wants to add this to there truck there is a thred on that also. Make me an offer... new they are about $150...

    looks like it... what do you have in your overhead now? looked like there were two different over head counsel. The one guy ordered some parts to do it. he has yet posted the result. But the tacomas are "max wired" so you should not have to add any wires. And one guy said that his truck had the thermostat already below the horn.

    i dont think so... i have pulled mine apart for when i fixed mine. just get the part to replace the garage opener, glue it in place, attach the temp /compass (my part) and plug in the temp sending unit (if your truck does not have it already. I can do it all for you if you would like.

    You would need a different headliner and your truck wont be prewired for the temp console, its 5lug... I looked into this.
