    Sliders and a t-case skid would give me all the warm fuzzy's, but so far (knock on wood) I haven't smacked my belly on anything.

    Just wait till you get the fuzzies from bumpers, lift, bigger tires and a winch lol Not so much the fuzzies as a rock hard boner that grew 3 additional inches.

    I was in the same boat as you a year and a half ago. That was until I ended up at this boulder (not my truck @Sixthelement , mine is the Inferno above) that ended up breaking my t-case actuator off of my t-case.

    The repair cost ~10x as much as a transfer case skid. I always recommend getting one as fast as possible if you do any moderate offroading. It can really save a lot of pain.

    *This was a well researched trip, this final obstacle came out of nowhere, no mention of it online. This was Lockhart Basin ROAD, which is incredibly misleading as well. Even with ~10 extra gallons of fuel it was impossible to backtrack to where we came.

    And if my line was just inches off from yours, mine would have been toast, too...I wasn't home from that trip for even an hour and the t-case skid was ordered.

    Ok, so there's a group meeting at my house Saturday morning at 7.. then we'll convoy to meet up at the Fry's at 8-8:15ish.. then from Fry's to meet at Cherry Creek turn off at 8:30ish and air down.. and leave from there by 9ish to start our adventure!

    Ive got two trucks meeting at my house at 7am, rolling to the Frys in Globe to meet up with the rest. These are solid plans, and I'm excited to have a fun trail day! We should all have some type of coms to chat, Ive got some handhelds to share if needed.

    Yep, We both have the midland275 mounted and the talkerX handheld to pair. Will work on the channels and get squared away at frys or while airing down.

    That's what I just installed, excellent

    Also pulled the trigger on trans/transfer skids.
    Wont be here in time for this trip.
