Was hitting it rough? I don't know much about bumps.

    I'm gonna do this.

because im a 5lug i need a measurement. can you tell me how much higher this mount is than stock? I would want to keep the bottom of the shock body in the same level as stock if that makes sense.

so the math should get me pretty close... here is what im thinking:

collapsed length of the stock shock + the added height of this bracket = the collapsed height of my new shock. It may get me a 11" shock as the 5 lug shock is a inch shorter than the 6lug.

Someone else will have to chime in on that we didnt measure the stock mounting points on the truck. We built the kit to run 12" shocks so we didnt really care about the stock mounts

Not rough, but loud. Hear the clunk every time the bumps hit the strike plates.

Hmm, I already get squeaks from my UCA's no matter how small the bump is. Probably wouldn't care about the noise unless they're really loud. Does the extra 2 inches of bump offer any benefits?

    thanks for the update.

Can you explain what you mean by this: "Or with a 90* fitting on the shock it could be tucked tighter to the frame by about .75" "
I want to tuck my shock as much as possible.

Also you mounted the shock 9* forward?

    .
That no longer applies i made the changes need to tuck them in tighter without the 90* fitting. And we mounted the shocks 9 degrees i use * just because there is no degree symbol

Yeah I don't weld those on just so you can set them up for the shock your using I only have the KING width so you would be stuck using KINGS if i welded the top bolt plates on. It's really easy all you need to do is take the shock with the misalignment spacers and measure the distance the opening needs to be with a caliper then just tack and weld the top mounts to the buckets. check to see if the shocks bolt on the top mount and them fully weld.

Pretty cool. So they are welded to the top plate then.

The quality is superb btw, seems like the fit perfect.

Yeah just in the bucket I think there is a shot in the OP of the top mounts. And thanks we spent a lot of time in R&D trying to get these near perfect.

Yeah things have changed and I'm linking the rear now so this is not going to be going on my truck. I can still mock it up on mine when i have the chance.
