I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
Not much I've dry fitted the side bars and the two top bars i just have the 4 bent bars on the top and then i can weld it all up. I'm still waiting on the tube couplers from RuffStuff and then I can complete the mounts.

Yeah tell me about it I'm trying to quit my 9 to 5 in 5 to 6 months and work in the shop full time. Just got to make it through the start up and pay off all the tools I'm buying "TorchMate$$$$$$"

Well, when you're ready, I'd love to start designing the BAMF/Mad Max 2nd gen bumper, strength/versatility/weight/production costs. It'd be a good goal to end up with a marketable product that you can sell.

That will be a wile I'm going to focus on small products that i can bust out in a day or two and sell more volume. But when i have some free time "giggle free time" we can do something for you.

    Jerry,

Just wondering why you're adding the extra legs that hang into the bed, is it really heavy enough to need them?!

Also, when can I place my order :D?!

When researching this build I read a lot on expedition portal that the 2nd Gens bed sides would come apart with a heavy rack and a RTT so I'm adding the mounts at the bed bolts to prevent that from happening. Once I'm done with a Skid plate GB we can talk about building you one :D

I'll take some tonight I'm still waiting on the damn tube copluers from RuffStuff so i can finish this thing. I need to get it out of my shop it's taking up a lot of room :(

The cross tubes are all welded up I still need to cut the plate for the tire mount and do the legs then it's done!

Okay I know I've been lagging on pictures but here is the bed rack as it sits today. I will be getting the tube copulers next week and then it will be done.

I started the tire mount today. It's 3/8th plate with 1/4" uprights.

I still need to cut the plates to mount it to the rack I'll have those done this weekend.

This is how the tire mount will sit on the rack it's just mocked up with one of my skid plate pieces for the photo.

This is how the tire mount will sit on the rack it's just tacked up with and bolts in the holes. It's all removable and unchangeable with whatever you want to add to the rack.

    Im getting there......
Man Ive been wanting one of these tabbed forever....how much will you make one for? and secondarily would you do any custom work? (throw in two or three yakima diameter cross members (so you could use their bike racks and stuff?) and also make the front extend over the cab a bit and have mounting tabs for lights?
