I'm actually thinking about black wrapping the pillars on my quicksand access cab....Wondering if anybody else has done that on their access cabs. I haven't quite started to compare it to the double cabs but I wondered if the double cabs have a line of demarcation of sorts where the vinyl visually terminates itself (you know, like providing a nice finish line instead of the vinyl ending at a flat surface)

I had my body shop debadge the truck and remove the TRD 4x4 decals when I had some work done. They didn't want to remove the window pillar vinyl, though. They said that often can cause problems with the window gaskets so they won't touch it due to liability. But this sounds relatively easy, so I'll attempt it myself.

I like the look of the the truck much better without the badges and decals. Now I need to get a faux-pro grill and be totally stealth.

Next up will be some non-machined wheels and I ordered a plate bumper so I continue to de-chrome and de-bling.

Pulled mine off today. Also removed the TACOMA badges on the front doors. Much improved IMO.

This is one mod I don’t like the look of. Aesthetically, I think the black B pillar does a great job of making the 2nd cab look less clunky.

For what it’s worth, though, I’m pretty sure it’s only aesthetic because the black Tacoma’s don’t have one. I don’t think it’s there for wear protection or any other functional purpose.

I'm leaving mine alone, with the magnetic gray it does not make any difference for me.

Anyone waited 2 years + to remove “B” pillar vinyl? Any fad issues?
