Bahahahaha. You can’t be serious. Speak from experience of driving one firsthand off-road? Doubt it.

They can! Have ever seen how much coin they dump into those huge mud trucks? Living is cheap in the south

A lot of $$$ for a off-road truck with fancy clothes. Plus it’s a Ford so it’s bound to fail you when you are deep back off the beaten path. Owned 3 fords. Speaking from experience

Okay bud. Me and dad wheeled his 14 hard and never an issue. But keep thinking your Tacoma is the greatest off road vehicle since they’re oh so reliable too...

Not saying that. I’m sure Ford people love em. I just hate Fords because they have failed on me. My Tacos NEVER have. Plus Raptors are a full size not a mid size. Not apples to apples

After selling the farm, mom and dad have lots of dough. Besides, junior needs a truck to get around when he’s off at college.

I also drive a Ford full size for work. It’s a fine vehicle. Just too big for the woods. Also, we have a game we play around my parts. It’s called “spot an F150 driver with no ballcap”. If you bet on ‘no ballcap’, you are almost guaranteed to lose.

Facts are facts. No hate here

Haha if I had that much coin to blow on a truck it sure as Hell wouldn’t be a Raptor. You can always tell who is actually money smart and likely to retire early based on what they invest in.

I'm a ford fan and would have one but it's just outside my budget. Here's my taco back up.

(I love my 1st gen and 3rd gen.)
I have a 17 and I can tell you that the raptor is not a show truck. It is everything you could want in a truck. Down fall is it’s size. Too big for trails.
Raptor is the wife’s DD she doesn’t wear a ball cap.
Somehow modding a Tacoma is a better “investment”
If you can afford a raptor your pretty money smart. ( I said afford, not a 8 year loan at 9 percent interest)

Well, you just eliminated 90% of the Raptor, F350, Corvette, Viper, and Shelby sales right there.

I leased for tiny payments to buy it out . . .

Ok ok I’ll delete my post. But, yes rich people pay cash for cars, they don’t finance.

Here is an interesting statistic. More than half of the US is pretty much broke

While most of what you said is true, I believe that most cars at the Raptor level and above are leased with no intention of keeping them. Just car swapping every two years or three years.

Which is literally the worst way to use your money towards a vehicle. That is if you plan to not keep it absolutely stock
