So, here it is. Months of buying stuff for my Tacoma, day-dreaming of what I wanted it to look like, and finally getting home on R&R leave to work on her and drink beer throughout the days. It was a great time.

Added 2x6 Daylighters on top of my bumper for driving lights. The mounting bolts are a lot smaller than the holes so I had to use some washers to make up the difference. Clear signal lenses from Gamiviti for the ARB along with amber lights were added. Not pictured: 4" deckplate mod and AFE Pro Dry filter.
    resize1_095cb2430a61008caf918a2ed69ce5d7cc0ba821.jpg

Had the Bilsteins and Procomp UCA's installed before I got home but I was able to jack them up to the full 3" with the addition of Toytec 1" rear leaf shackles.
    resize5_2a8731b99625b132cb0b148bebced000620ee102.jpg

Ended up having to cut off my exhaust because the rear leafs were resting on it and one flex over a bump probably would've broke it right off. This didn't bother me since it had a chrome tip that I wanted to get rid of anyway. She definitely has a more aggressive sound without all of the bends after the muffler and it bounces off the asphalt directly underneath rather than coming out the side.
    resize3_1e9fca936f90a202e26af4819c7d03f4224734db.jpg

Rhinolined the bed with an over-the-rail and added the Prerunner Tiregate for my 305/70/16 Nitto Terra Grappler and Procomp 98 10x16 gloss black steel wheel. Spyder tail lights added but I ended up switching the turn signal bulbs down to where the back-up lights were so I could use an amber bulb and have it match the front. The Tiregate was surprisingly easy to install with my fiancee and daughter helping; took about an hour. The only issue was that they only shipped two of the four bolts I needed to mount the bracket. A quick run to the ACE Hardware up the street during the Maryland "Hurricane" quickly solved the situation. Honestly, that was the longest and hardest part of the whole process.

Just another view for your pleasure :D

Nice Truck! Good Luck in Baghdad, I head back to Balad in 5 days. I came home to visit family and bought myself a small Tacoma while on R&R. Didn't get to do too much to it as I was visiting family most the time. I don't see many 2x4 Tacomas on this site...or am I looking in the wrong areas? In any case....sweet ride! Stay Safe.

    Looks nice man!

One thing...i think you should flip the rear shocks so the shaft is pointed down, you don't want water getting down them. Or just get some boots.

awesome truck. I really like your front suspension setup! How much better does it handle than stock (offroad)? I would love to do the all pro UCA's and the all pro bilsteins...but its just so much $$$..

And I really like the tire-gate, where did you get it?

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
You should consider getting a diff drop. Those CV angles don't look good.

Thanks for the support everyone! I'll just go down the list of questions:

    @jking3002: I'm with 1/73 CAV 2/82AD.

@massboy11: Enjoy the pool, I'm stuck on Liberty.

@Blackdawg: Thanks for the advice, I'm upgrading those to Bilsteins when I get home so I'll keep that in mind.

@TacoMX: It was about $1300 if I remember correctly for the coilovers and UCAs and it's a great ride now. My springs were pretty much shot before with the front driver side sagging pretty badly so I'm really loving it. I didn't get to do any off-roading while in MD but it felt like a champ just cruising about Annapolis and Ocean City. I got the tiregate from 4wheelparts.com and you can look at the different styles on tiregate.com. It took about 5 weeks to receive because they pretty much make them to order.

@rleeharris: I'm loving the light setup like that on the ARB. Just remember to get some washers for the 2x6's because the mount tab hole is waaay larger that the bolts on the lights.

@98tacoma27: My thoughts exactly. I have the diff drop, I just didn't put it on due to time constraints. It'll be one of the first things I do when I get back.
