Back space/ Offset

    Back side of most if not all alloy wheels have a "block" shaped, or raised area to mount the wheel.

    The back side of steel wheels don't have this and are flat (sort of like what's pictured).

    Since the Tacoma hub does not stick out very far from the caliper this means the flat steel wheels surface doesn't clear it. It has nothing to do with offset. Trust me, it's the way the wheel is made mixed with how shallow the Tacoma hub is.

    I didn't put words in your mouth...

    Everyone on here is arguing offsets of different stock wheels and how that may affect the fitment of aftermarket steel wheels...

    99% of steel wheels (especially pro comp/vision/summitt/jegs) no workie without spacers.

    No op they won't fit regardless of +444 offset or -1766 offset.
