i am so confused, i have read and read and read. then everytime i go to buy 16x8 wheels and , each wheel seller or company tells me everything opposite of what i have read my eyes out on.is 4" backspacing better to clear our large calipers then 4.5" backspacing?

thanks but how do i test fit over the net? i want 16"x8 rims so i can have bigger tires and more offset. i am going to try 275/70/16 to make the least amount of trimming possible.

You could always go to a local shop and try out some wheels and then tell them you will think about it and go buy what you want at the right price.

lower number of backspacing = further they stick out.
