Document everything
copy the receipt, make a phone log of who you called and who you talked too at what time.

 

One of my friends thought he was putting gas in his 68 Camaro. They mixed it up and it was diesel. It broke down on him a couple miles down the road. He said once he cleaned it out and ran gas back through it it actually sounded like it was running smoother than before. Something about the diesel cleaning some of the system. I don't know if there's any truth to that, but that's just what he told me. That sucks that happened to you though. Good luck with the fix!

I got my GF great this morning by telling her I crushed my hand and was going to the hospital, she broke in to tears. I laughed my ass off!

On a serious note:

AM/PM here in socal (arcadia) got busted for "watering down" their gas some 15 years ago. It was in the papers. Ever since then I never go near one of those stations.
