bad idle and no power?

    if it is adjustable, there will be a slightly ovaled hole on one of the mounting bolts for the TPS sensor.

    yea thats what i looked for but there is none it just bolts on. kind of weird that you cant adjust it

    Not every manufacturer has an adjustable TPS. Some go through an "idle learn" procedure where the computer will learn the TPS readings for idle and off-idle conditions.

    Hmmm just another thought before I just take this to Toyota or even ford where my dads friend manages to put a real scanner tool on here to check the a/f ratio etc. Could a crack in the manifold cause the o2 sensor to adjust the mixture richer if that's the cause. I know mine had a hair crack I saw It when I seafoamed it. it smoked pretty good from it. That's probably the main noise you hear under the hood. But the only thing about that is I did disconnect the o2 sensor and it didn't really run any better unless I have to disconnect both to check this theory.

    Hey I have a similar problem I just don't know how to post a thread yet but my 99 Tacoma with the 2.7 is acting up went to start today wouldn't fire sat for a min looked at all the plug ins fine got back in fired right up then sprayed the motor clean and now it's got a rough idle and my buddy hooked his code reader up and it said egr, maf, misfire and fuel buddy said when his did that just a coil replaced the coil and still the same rough idle I give it gas and it Boggs down and when I let up on it a lil kinda cleans up Idk what is wrong with it any help please

    4in suspension lift and 3 inch body lift
    What happened did you ever find a fix. I have the same issue and done all the same tests. Im new here trying to keep 18 yr old daughters truck running.
