When are you guys going to make the squadron line in the wide cornering with amber so that you don't have to use the extra covers? Seeing that most people say that the amber color is better suited when the weather is bad it seems like that would be the most logical one to make amber to use as aftermarket fog lamps.

The plans are made and now we are onto the product development phase. I'll be sending you a PM with specifics towards your application.

Baja Designs - XL Series - NEW Products
    [IMG]
We have some great additions to the Baja Designs XL Series! Now introducing the XL80 and XL Racer Edition. These lights are designed to give the user more light and more distance!
The XL80 features 4 very powerful 20W LEDs giving you greater visibility and increased brightness. With a grand total of 9,500 Lumens per light. The XL80 is ideal for lighting zones 1, 2, and 3
If you are looking for the ultimate in long range lighting, look no further than our XL Racer Edition. The XL Racer throws light an average of 40% further than the XL Pro and utilizes 4 high intensity LEDs. Outshine others while reaching lighting zones 4 and 5! As well we still offer our XL Pro/Sport. With each of these auxiliary lights available with round bezels to assist in fog pocket and bumper mounting.

Take a look at the TacomaWorld thread for more information!

So I've been shown the light...

After winning the Squadron-R Sport giveaway (which I'm very thankful for!), and mounting them into the All-Pro front bumper, one thing became very clear, there is a massive difference in quality of light. As much as I hate to admit it, I've been running those cheap knock-off's that you can get for a deal all around the internet. Having never had a quality light to compare them all too, they seemed to do ok. After all, how much better could a light get?

    Night and day. Seriously.

What became immediately apparent was that 2 Squadron-R Sport lights outperformed a 31" knock-off bar. Brightness was about the same, but then when the numbers are compared, it's almost ridiculous.

    Two BD Squadron-R Sports = 3600 lumens
    Knock-off 31" bar = "Advertised" 14800 lumens

And it wasn't even the brightness so much, as the beam pattern. The bar seemed to throw light everywhere, whereas the Squadron's threw a very focused beam, but had a bit of spill. All usable light. After this revelation and no longer happy with my sweet knock-off anymore, I got in contact with Bailey and ordered a 30" Stealth LED light bar. The light bar arrived the next day (today) and I immediately had to compare the two. Laugh. Out. Loud. The rest is history.

This probably sounds biased at this point, but I've been there, done that with the cheap stuff. After been shown the light, how it's supposed to be, I can't go back knowing what a quality product, and customer service, offers.

Thanks Bailey and everyone at Baja Designs. You've got a customer for life.

Just a few shots I managed to shoot off, but I plan on doing a comparison, if you can call it that, in a real world situation in a couple of weeks.

That faint, bluish hue on the wall is the knock off. Lower is the Stealth 30".
