Baja Designs price difference

Could someone tell me why on the BD official page, the squadron amber SAE price is $429.95 and for the same exact unit on Amazon, it's $386.96? Am I missing something?

About a $50 difference. I only noticed it, after I had put in an order on their official site. I've gotten over the $50, but I just don't understand it. Hopefully this will alert ya'll who are thinking of buying.

 

Because when your buying from the manufacturer your typically always paying retail pricing. Amazon and other sites sell them at a discounted rate. Some sellers on eBay sell them even cheaper. I got mine from a Baja dealer on this forum (memario1214). Got a great price and helped a little guy. Amazon is always my last resort. Shop around and you will almost always find products cheaper from vendors than directly from manufacturers.

 

MAP pricing as a BD dealer is 10% off MSRP. The Amazon listing is exactly that price.

I believe if you mention Tacomaworld when ordering from Baja Designs they do that price as a forum member discount. 10% off and free shipping I believe.

 

Actually that isn’t even sold by Amazon. Sold by Prime Warehouse and just filled by Amazon. Just make sure your buying from an authorized dealer so Baja will honor the lifetime guarantee.
