We finally got a lot of snow this weekend in Big Bear, so I had to go play in it.

Rock rash. I knew I scrapped my skids, but I didn't think I scrapped the slider or the passenger rear wheel when I crawled through a rock section at the begining of 2N06X.

Now I have a good reason to get new wheels. Waiting for the SCS SR8's gunmetal with machined rings to become available in April.

Yeah those wheels are just pure awesomeness! Really liking the Deavers, really hating the rear timbrens. Right now I only have about an inch of up travel before they hit. They are night and day better than the AALs, just not happy with the timbrens engaging so fast. Im having some repairs done at DMZ, after that I think I'm ordering the icon rear hydro bumps before Pismo in September.

you'll love hydros  Superbumps are a great option if you want to ditch the timbrens. They were definitely the best non hydro bump I tried.

I've got about an inch and a quarter before my hydros engage and its been just fine that way. Its just tough with spring over axle to get the uptravel you'd like. I run about 80psi in my hydros. i'd start there if I were you. initially I had 150ish in the bumps and I would get some buck going on...

Yeah hydros are great I've had them on all of my past builds. I'm surprised you were getting some bucking at a higher PSI, I've never had that problem. Eventually I will swap out my 2.5 remote resis for the ICON 2.5 double bypass, that will make a world of difference.

ahhh nice, didnt know you've run them before. Yea I was talking with Jberry about setup and valving and he was the one who thought I should drop from 150 down to 80 and it helped a bunch.

Yeah one of my builds is on the TC website, a black 2006 4Runner built by DMZ. My 4Runner was the first 2wd LTed with the race spindles. Sometimes I wish I could have kept it, but selling it funded the purchase of my Tacoma and some mods.

Missed the 4wd and a truck was more practical.

I've never really planned to buy a shell for my truck, but after seeing Dean's truck I really like the look and purpose of a shell. Since my truck is an expo build I was looking for a deal on a Snugtop so I can build a drawer system/ sleeping platform, mount a front runner rack and an RTT someday, not to mention more secure storage space and cover in bad weather. Bryant found a brand new white Snugtop loaded with all the options up in Ventura and he finally convinced me to pull the trigger on it. I got an incredible deal!!!!!

    Driving home from Ventura.

Very nice! Snug makes good stuff, had a hard snug cap on my last truck and it was awesome.

Thanks!!! They do make awesome products, I'm very happy with the one I got and the mods I have planned to bolt onto it. I may need to change out my leaf packs, but that all depends on if they flatten out sooner than expected. I'm hoping they hold up since I had an extra leaf added and a half leaf added for anti axle wrap and had them arched for 2" of lift. Time will tell.

Brakes have finally bedded and all I can say is WOW!!!! Brakes feel super confident, almost like having 4wheel disk again. Braking distance has greatly decreased with less peddle input and they are very responsive when I need them to be. EBC slotted rotors, EBC Green Stuff 7000 pads and the DMZ stainless braided lines is an excellent brake setup.
