Agreed they do look good, and I like the idea of having it all on a shackle

Good to know thanks for the info. Still have to get a winch, and just researching the little stuff at this point.

The thing actually look ridiculous. I like the fact that allows to keep my syn line out of the sunlight. It designed well and appears much safer to use than a regular hook.

Oh I see, must of misunderstood. I am thinking of getting it for the safety factor. Also, it keeps the winch line tight and straight, so it wont kink the line when not using the winch. Assuming your using cable of course.
    Thanks for the info

I had to order a new 3 ft Firestik CB antenna due to ripping off the tunable tip on my other one last weekend. Got the new one tuned up. What i failed to do was check the SWR on Ch1 and Ch40, but Ch20 looks pretty good. Might have to raise it slightly so its not too low on the lower channels.

Got to work my winch again this past weekend. It's a year old at this point. I'm glad it still works, considering it was an cheap winch. The Prolink worked well too.

My tires on the other hand were getting slick in the mud. They aren't good mud tires to begin with. I've got 45k miles on the tires. They are reading between 7/32" and 8/32" depending on which tire you measure.

Nah we're actually leaving on the 4th and heading up there. Wanted to get out there before more traffic got on the trails. We're heading back on the 11th.

Well we made it by there and tried one of the beers, I'm not usually a fan of beer but I must say it tasted pretty good. Also stopped by Brown Dog Pizza per your mention and it was pretty damn good as well.
