Hey guys, been searching all morning to try and confirm this. Bakflip said they were "pretty sure" it would work but cannot find anyone to confirm 100%.

I have ATH's wheel chocks installed (see pic below). I want to install a tonneau cover and I see Bakflip relocates the side rails lower. This will be perfect if I can relocate the FRONT bed rail lower so I can keep my wheel chock brackets installed (they need to be at the same level as the side rails). Can anyone confirm that if I order extra relocation brackets, they will work on the front rail?

If not can anyone recommend a cover I'd be able to install and use while retaining my chock brackets and be easily removed when I want to load my bikes? Thank you!

Where did you get that rail bracket? Utilitarian and looks great as well!

It's hard to tell if the relocate brackets will work on front rail. The front rail will be on the ribs of the front wall of bed, which will move rail out and away a bit.

That's why I'm skeptical about Bakflip's own response that it would work. Hoping someone may have a for sure yes or know from trying.

The screw is where the rail was mounted. If you did use these you might have to cut the top of the brackets off, if the off set is different from the side rails to the cab rail.

@caspersytfu lookin at your picture I don’t think it will work with these brackets without modifying your piece. Because of the thickness of the bakflip brackets it will decrease the distance between all the rails.

I didnt even think about that! I was thinking it moved them directly down and didn't realize they are what looks to be 1/2" inwards on each side. So you're totally right. It won't work.

Now I need to try and figure out a different tonneau solution. Back to square one. Thank you guys!

The chock is in two pieces, so if the bracket relocation changes the width you can trim to fit.
While your moving the chock, why not mount it far enough back to use with the cover folded up.
I read that the bakflip made a short stack and took little bed space and was hoping to haul dirt bikes with it up.
