    Good Day Ya'll!!

I just had Discount Tire Co. down here in Conroe, TX, take off my custom wheels and had them mount back on my original equipment: 16" steel preunner wheels. I know you're wondering why? I just couldn't get a constistant balance from Discount at ALL. One day they would be running smooth, on other days it would vibrate!! I couldn't stand it anymore!!

I had them replace my Yokohama Geolanders because they had a visible hop while running on the balancer. They replaced the them with some Michelin MTX A/Ts with no additional charge. Great deal right? Not realy. The vibration still remains but worst!! I shouldn't be getting this vibration with these Michelins right?

I am taking the truck into Gullo Toyota here in Conroe to get a good balance. If they don't balance up, I am going to think that there is sometyhing wrong with the truck. Maybe bad wheels?

Can anyone be any kind of help? I've read about this but nothing is working.

    Many thanx,
    Kingdesgn

The wheels that I am talking about are the original prerunner wheels. They're 16" steel wheels. They aren't custom.

I'm up creek w/o a paddle huh? I've been pulling my hair out about this!! It may be that Discount's balancer is out of calibration.

What do you know about hub-centric rings on custom wheels. In notice that you have custom wheel......looks absoluetely AWESOMOE! How's your ride...any vibration at all?

take it to the dealer for a balance, then you'll be good to go. they need to be road force balanced.

    Thanks fro the reply.

What do you know about mounting up custom wheels? I had some on but no one was able to balance them at all!! Thy're the MB Motoring V-Drives. They have a center bore of 106MM. I know that the hub on a Tacoma is 108MM. What that being said, should I have used hubcentric rings to close up the 2MM space? Are they even manufactured that small. I notice that you don't have custom wheels on your truck. Is this the reason.....I really don't have that much more hair to lose. I think that I am going to get my money back on the custom wheels and buy a bed cover.....I don't know!!
