Finally got the front skid on, didn’t realize I had to take these off until I had a mini shit show going in the garage.

Anyone know part numbers for these? I’ll throw them on eBay.

Does BAMF make a 2nd gen Tacoma gas tank skid plate?

I noticed my 2015 has a plastic gas tank with a plastic skid plate. What was Toyota thinking?

I will have to do the same once I get the LCA/Cam gussets installed......

I was wondering how much I would have to take off the IFS skid.....now I know.

With your 1/4” steel construction even with the sides trimmed I’d think it would still be plenty strong with the central gussets?

No I do not recommend doing that to the skid. If anything modify the CAM gussets to fit the skids.

I’ll have to play around with it and see what areas need clearancing and how that will be best attained (trimming the LCA gusset or the skid).

Will update this thread with my implementation when the time comes.

From my experience and drive style I don't have any scuffs, scratches or things attacking that area of my BAMF skid. I will continue to "rock" it.
