Yeah, 1/2" the only reason is because a standard length drill bit plus the length of my drill was too long to drill straight into the frame since my truck was on the ground.

Getting ready to paint and install the trilogy this weekend, my only fear is that the reroute I had done isn’t enough.

That's high enough the skids sit at the bottom of the cross member.

    I’m hoping so! @Grossomotto
Jerry said it might interfere with the transfer case crossmember.
I’ll definitely post some pictures after its installed! @Dirk Diggler

My tip to others would be to order them with the powder coating so they are ready to install as soon as they arrive.

Yeah I’m not looking forward to waiting for them to dry with the spray paint before mounting but do like the saved$$ and idea of easy touch up

Rattlecan primer and black paint is great and cheap and easy to touch up. Definitely use primer, preferably a couple coats.

The part we struggled with was getting bolts to go through the existing crossmember and mid/t case skid.9839003D-0509-4B4A-A310-BB1ABB8D0510.jpgE1076F38-47BD-4DB8-86DA-C01B1552FD30.jpg6EF11AE4-5572-4CFE-B7DA-BDAB8210C5BB.jpg

You did it right you have to flip one on each side the other way. Looks great and you'll save your drive train off roading.

I'll add on here that I have the URD re-route, which reroutes it in front of the crossmember that the mid skid attaches to and I had some clearance issues. Instead of bolting the skid lip over the IFS skid on the front, I had to bolt the lip under the IFS skid. It still rested on the exhaust, but I was tired and just wanted to get it on. There was a lot of noise transfer into the cab from the contact it made.

I went back and modified the mid skid for my exhaust and I clear now mounted the correct way. Just a heads up for those running the URD re-route.

Here is the cut I had to make:

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.

That is a good way of adding the T case skid without dropping the Mid skid  Normally you would want to swap those bolts with no mid skid with a jack under the corssmember. That if you are OCD and want them to face the same direction.

Pulled the trigger on a front skid since I crushed my stock one. Will probably get the rest after a reroute and some suspension to hold extra weight on top of my fat self.

    I don't, I do know it's an M12x35mm 1.25pitch bolt that fits it.
