What special tools are needed to swap out the stock uca's to the LR/SPC? OR how much labor should I expect someone to charge?

No special tools, but you will have to bend a little sheet metal to get the long bolt out. Some people order new bolts and cut the stock bolt to get it out. The sheet metal doesn’t need to be bent much to remove the bolt and you can bend it back. There is a YouTube video showing the entire process for a Tacoma.

Don't I need a ball joint separator and a ball joint press?

No. You’ll need a decent sized hammer to smack the side of the spindle to release the balljoint.

Will these uca's correct the spindle/steering knuckle rubbing the coil springs? Will they move them far enough away or at least open up the gap?
