Well what started off as a lot of random ass questions and empty promises to my wife to not spend alot of money on the truck has finally fallen through. I'm not an avid offroader we just like to camp/hike/mountain bike/ and kayak alot. And so naturally I decided I should add some things to my truck (08 4x4 DC/SB Sport) and here's what is ordered/ waiting to go on in my spare bedroom:

    Eibach springs
    Bilstein 5100's
    Dealer done TSB
    Westin 1-peice sportsman (black)
    2 - Hella 500's
    Avid offroad step bars (black)
    bestop bed extender (black)
    extra D-rings
Factory fog light switch for Hella's
2 Rocky Mount SD Clutch bike holders for bed

tryin to rig/fab some type of rear kayak rack as well.

Anyways this is my basic daily driver offroad built, but obviously I feel like I'm missing stuff. So to you outdoors man and just maniac offroaders out there, help me out.

As HSTaco mentioned... Wheels? Tires? UCAs?

Also, get rid of the step bars and go with sliders. Brandon (Avid Offroad) made my sliders and I love them.

Indeed. Those increase the off road capability of the truck more than anything else IMO.

If you don't do hard core off-roading then just get whatever you need to haul bikes and kayaks and put gas in the tank. These are pretty solid off-road trucks stock as long as you get rid of the rugged fails.
