thanks for the info beeftaco. and thanks for the replies chris and nick. so after about 2 hours of dealing with AAA they messed up. AAA has a warranty with their batteries as long as you keep the receipt, turns out this guy that put my battery in didnt put his name on it. i made a call with AAA to see if they put in the wrong battery and the guy shows up and says that they did put in the wrong battery but hes not gonna replace it cuz his company didnt put it in. so after talkin with many AAA supervisors they finally found the company that put in the battery the first time. the manager of the company came to my house and apologize and said that the original installer is going to get fired cuz of this. he said in the morning he will come and replace the battery and fix the cable.

If you look at the post location on your battery compared to the pictures tacoskim put up you can see the difference your negative cable isn't being pulled tight and also the negative post is on the back of the battery you should be good to go.

I hope they aren't firing the guy for just this screw up. That would be a little harsh.

he should get in trouble because of this screw up; my tie down always popped up cuz of the wrong battery, eventually the tie down dented my hood inside out, the cable is split apart, who knows how long till the more important battery cables break. the manager was pissed, he doesnt want anyone to work with him that installs the completely wrong battery and didnt put his name or company name on my receipt, lawsuit waitin for happened, also his company can get dropped from AAA

Threatening a call to the BBB might work in your favor. Then follow through..

E-mail them pics of your cable, and bent hood - then tell them the next call is to your attorney / BBB, like he said^^
