The Nyloc self locking nuts are a nice touch.

I assume this applies to my situation as well. i have a 1998 tacoma base 2.7L 4x4. I am replacing my 550 CCA battery with a 750 CCA because warn winches need at least 650 CCA, and i have a couple LEDS as well (generally not running all at the same time)
The new battery fits perfectly in the craddle. Before i hook it up to the terminals i wanted to be certain that putting this battery in my truck will not have any negative affects on the alternator or relay, or anything else. thanks

Since you are dealing with a car battery this might help you: Car and Deep Cycle Battery FAQ Driving habits will affect battery recharging. If you make short trips less than five miles, you might need to periodically top your battery off with a full charge to prevent sulfation.

I have a 2013 Base model 4 x 4 that I bought new it still has the original battery I came to this thread looking for insight into what battery I should purchase because mine is rapidly dying. I went to Costco to try and purchase the battery they said we don’t carry that by the way it’s the 24F So I’m going to look for an alternative and buy a different one from Costco and let the salesman try and talk me into anything different so long as the posts are on the same side and the cold cranking apps and everything’s all right.

I just put in a new 24f everstart, as the 27f's are very difficult to find.

For peace of mind, the 3rd gen Tacoma OR's use 24f, so if its enough for their trucks and other trucks as well, its good enough for ours.
