Quick question....I've noticed that sometimes when starting out in first gear (I have a manual) and I lug the engine just a tad, the headlights will dim pretty significantly. I'm wondering if the battery I have is slightly underpowered for the V6. It is a fairly new Interstate Megatron II 550 Cold Cranking Amps / 690 Cranking Amps.

Reason I ask is when I do the same thing on my daily driver Hyundai 4 cylinder the lights do not dim at all.

    Thanks

Normal. Alternator driving electical power and the slower speed of the alternator is causing the light dimming. I had the same thing on my 2000 2.7L.
