Battery replacement under warranty with aftermarket stereo?

    Battery is losing it's charge st 2 yrs old. Should I put the stock hu back in for warranty reasons?

    Locking Tailgate & Gas Cap and extra bed D-rings
    Prematurely killing an OEM starting battery, alternator or wiring with after market stereo system, lighting, wenches, etc., is a common challenge. This is because the OEM components are not sized for the extra electrical load. Please see Sections 7.1.9 and 5 in the Car and Deep Cycle Battery FAQ on www.batteryfaq.org for more information and possible solutions.

    That is up to you. I had mine replaced under warrentee with only like 85 miles left on it. Had all my system in it still. It should still hold a charge...a few people have had problems with their OEM batteries...
