Bay area trail meetup?

Anyone in the bay area looking to meet up and hit some trails somewhere for Veterans day, trying to enjoy my Vets day in the dirt/mud

 

I'm new on forum and free to go. Just a stock truck. When and where?

 

I have nothing planned except a birthday party I don't want to go to. I'd love to "help out a friend" and go wheeling instead. I'm stock too and the closest place to me would be cow mountain east of ukiah.

 

Mines pretty much stock too aside from the lift and tires, i was thinking hollister, unless anyone has some others spots

 

Ukiahs a good three and a half hours from me

 

I know nothing about offroad routes near bay area except theory. I'm in Santa Clara.

 

Yea theres carnegie svra just off the 5, its decent not huge not trails mainly obstacles which are pretty fun and they should have the mud pit open since the rain started.

Im in pittsburg so its about 45 mins there and 2hrs to hollister

 

Carnegie SVRA is just 1h from me, I'm in.

 

We're in different parts of norcal then lol. I consider everything south of the golden gate to slo central california, then below that is so cal. Maybe i live a sheltered life. If I had a couple days I'd meet up with ya, go camping, then come home. Good luck and happy veterans day! (Tomorrow)

 

What time would you wanna meet there? If you youtube carnegie 4x4 you can see what the park has, but its not something we’d have to be there early for if we got there around 12 or 1 its plenty of time to get in what you wanna do. Check some vids out and let me know

Im workin on a time a few things came up with the family, but ill probably be out there around 1 if all goes well. They wanna take me out for veterans day now ill post again in a bit to let you know whats going on

I was looking for today but shoulda posted earlier, i would be open for tomorrow but im busy. We should get a meet up going though

 

Try Frank Raines park near Patterson, Carnegie is tiny. There's a mud hole with a rocky bottom, and a hill side with the stairs and that's it. The drive to up 130 from San Jose to Frank Raines past the observatory is a nice drive this time of year. Most if not all of it can be done in a stock truck.
