Yup but he said less chance of the wheels getting scratched with the mill, same price so whatever I'm not trippen! However it gets done and I don't have to grind each wheel for 2 hours I'm happy hahaha!

You're going to watch him mill them, right?

I have heard some things he does when nobody is looking, and I don't dare speak of them here.

we already talked about a tessellation of dicks pattern on the wheels soo I feel like he couldn't do anything to hurt them at this point.

yeah. Try being the one writing it haha!

I want to start this off first by talking about the builder, Cody Swinehart of Quarter Tilt Kreations in Petaluma, you can reach him at 707-799-5747 or Instagram @25tilt_kreations. Cody and I have been friends for a while now and he has helped through every stage of this build from the first IFS stuff to the entire SAS build. He has been a great friend and mentor to me through the whole process and I am very grateful for all his hard work, this dude never sleeps! From the get go I knew I wanted to be a big part of the SAS build, I didn't want to just buy the whole thing and have no idea how any of it went together. I don't have the time necessary (or skill) to make a build of this caliber, never the less I went down to 4 days a week a the Tattoo shop I own so that I could work with Cody 1 day a week on my truck. I knew it was important to see how all the major components worked, hubs spindles, knuckles etc. If shit breaks on the trail I don't want to be that jackass with a high dollar rig that doesn't know how to turn a wrench. I would like to add that I am somewhat mechanically inclined I just don't know the hardcore stuff like Cody does, but thats why I'm here, to learn!
With a wedding coming and a Moab trip watching @JLee tear it up I decided it was now or never with my SAS build! Full parts list can be found in the updated OP. I have a ton of pictures on an actual camera I will add back into this when I get a chance but this is everything I had on my phone at the time!

Starting with the initial tear down and inventory of all the parts I would later sell. I was able to recoup almost $5,000 after selling suspension, diffs tires and odds and ends.
    IMG_4089 2.jpg IMG_4090 2.jpg

Bed came, tank, exhaust and cross members came off for easier access

    IMG_4294.jpg IMG_4275.jpg

all the "OLD" IFS parts cleaned up and ready to be picked up of shipped out. I had buyers lined up for almost everything. Thanks to everyone who was patient.
    IMG_4012.jpg

@akamrkent wasted no time and was there to pick up my 5.29 diffs with ARB in front.
    IMG_4013.jpg IMG_4091.jpg

Cody cutting off the old perches.
    IMG_4354.jpg

    Rear axle mocked into place.

Bump can crossmember build by Cody. king 2.5 4" and a rear cross member for strength, the rest of the frame will be boxed.
    IMG_4515.jpg

    IMG_5097.jpg

Frame filled and cleaned up with some frame plates and temp mocking of steering box
    IMG_5228.jpg IMG_5254.jpg

Assembling the rear hubs, this was the first time I had pressed any sort of bearing race in, Cody walked me through the process so I would know what to do on the trail.

    IMG_5255.jpg

    IMG_5256.jpg
    IMG_5257.jpg

    Front finally getting mocked up

    IMG_5307.jpg

All the parts from Solid came in, we are switching the steering arms to the ones from Artec so more steering options. and more BEEF!
    IMG_5375.jpg IMG_5376.jpg IMG_5377.jpg IMG_5379.jpg

Big shout out to @Bentrodder for helping get my wheels machined, the hubs from Solid were 10 thou to big so we had to machine out the entire center bore of all the wheels, they are a PERFECT fit, I guess thats why its called a machine fit.

    IMG_5395.jpg

Frickin laserbeams haha, Cody making sure the C's are true before giving them a tack.
