Did you end up making a skid for the ram? Hard to see but looks like the tie rod would protect it for the most part.

Is there a reason for not having the bolt go horizontal? Not enough room for a another bracket? Would make more sense to do that since it would leave a flatter surface for the skid. I'd be worried about maybe shearing the bolt off on the trail.

Also any plans to box the panhard mount?

Bolts temporary. Just a place holder for mock up. You'll see the finish product soon. Horizontal won't work. No room

That's. 5/8" bolt it won't shear. It's in double shear. With 3/16" plate.

Pan hard doesn't need boxing. The load path isn't in that direction. The front bracket is double shear the rear bracket takes the load and is gusseted by the ori mount.

Thx guys. Getting closer. Here's a few shots of the assembly of the front axle. It marks a huge milestone in the build process when things get assembled. Details to work out still but it'll be no time now. Looking forward to a good rubicon run next month.

Glad to see this getting all wrapped up! So you have something like a week or two of work left? If this thing is on all 4 within a week, @bayareataco I expect you to be at Rubithon.
