That’s the direction I’m heading too. Really cool innovation and I liked the ideas of a reasonable price point but not looking like it’s going to happen.

Hey guys - sorry to leave you hanging for as long as we have. We have been heads down tweaking our next plate version. Last week @BeachBoy and I met up to look over the prototypes of our next batch. I came home with a set of Cab (yes - Cab!) plates, as well as a set destined for my wife's VW Atlas.

Beachboy is traveling for work, but once he's back we will get the ball rolling on a next round of Long and Shortbed plates. Our mounts are still in the works as well. With our mount's finalized, our Cab kit will finally be ready for some real-world testing.

In the meantime, here is a look at our new plate design mounted up to the wife's rig.

Do.you happen to have a guesstimate time-frame on availability?!

1 month, 2 months? Won't hold you to it, would just like an idea.

Also, with the new design and all of the additional holes, how does that hold up? Does it compromise strength? Add any additional wind noise?

    Tha ks for the update!!

We should be ready to rock sometime in October.

The new design is still in an early test phase, but so far so good. The accessory mount holes do remove material, but the added width makes up for it. On the Atlas, wind noise is currently a factor, so we are fast-tracking our fairing solution.

I know progress has been slow, but we want to be sure we are not cutting corners with anything.

We'll have a better sense once our mounts are in play. Currently, the Atlas prototype is limited by the Reese Explore mounts it uses to attach to the raised factory roof rails.

@Barnburner It's been 3 months since the last "update". Any more news for us? Is this project/product still happening?

Hey guys - I know the radio silence hasn't been super fair to you.

I'm not one to just lay out excuses, but I can share a little more insight. Beachboy and I coordinate our ops between two countries (I'm in the US, Beachboy's just across the VT border in Canada). We both have our fulltime day jobs, and Beachboy's requires long bouts of international travel. The unfortunate result is our hampered ability to crank these out consistently. Our plan is to continue to make these available while still remaining transparent on the other priorities we are juggling (work, family, getting outside, etc).

I know we haven't been able to always come back with the greatest news or substantial updates. I hope you understand where we are coming from, and we genuinely appreciate those that have been willing to bear with us. In the meantime, I'll continue to be available for any questions and I'll do my best to provide solid answers. Thanks guys!
